Signing of MOA Between CMU and 5 Carbon Business Networking Partners

On 26 January 2026, at the Tawan Kangwanphong Meeting Room, Office of the University, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University (CMU), presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between CMU and five Carbon Business Networking partners: Sri Trang Agro-Industry PLC, Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC, B.Grimm Power PLC, Agriac Global Co., Ltd., and Bureau Veritas Thailand Ltd. The agreement aims to promote joint research and development, strengthen cross-sector collaboration on sustainable development to address climate change, and support the transfer of green and climate-related technologies. Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of the Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, delivered an overview of the collaboration and co-signed the agreement alongside executives from the five partner organizations.
