Associate Professor Dr. Winita Punyodom, Vice President, Assistant Professor Dr. Ora-orn Poocharoen, Director of the School of Public Policy and Assistant Professor Dr. Warathida Chaiyapa, Deputy Director, welcomed Dr. Kurt Thurmaier, Director of the School of Public and Global Affairs and Dr. Scott Robinson, Chair of the Department of Public Administration, Northern Illinois University (NIU), USA on their visit to CMU to sign the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding and Graduate Degree Program Agreement on June 20, 2023, at the Office of the University’s Phraya Srivisanvacha Room.
NIU is one of twelve state universities in Illinois. The main campus is in DeKalb, Illinois with five other campuses across the Midwest. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate degree programmes and 69 graduate programmes with more than 17,000 students, 1,200 of which are international students from about 70 countries worldwide. In 2023, it was ranked in the top 800 US universities by Times Higher Education.
