CMU Agro-Industry Lecturer Selected as NRCT Young Leader 2026

Dr. Phatthawin Setthaya, a lecturer from the Division of Product Development Technology, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, has been selected as an NRCT Young Leader 2026 for his outstanding achievements in research and innovation. He participated in the Thailand Future Research Leaders Forum 2026 in Japan from September 27 to October 6, 2026, with support from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

During the program, he engaged in forums and knowledge exchanges with international researchers and experts, and received the NRCT Young Leader 2026 certificate from Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI)

Key Highlights of the Visit:

Kyoto University: Visited and exchanged insights on building international research networks.

SHIMADZU Corporation: Conducted a study visit focusing on advanced analytical technologies applied in Food Analysis, Food Safety, Functional Ingredients, and Functional Food, alongside exploring collaborations between SHIMADZU and NARO (National Agriculture and Food Research Organization) in analyzing active compounds in food.
