CMU researcher awarded NRCT Distinguished Research Professor Grant 2022

CMU congratulates Emeritus Prof. Dr. Saisamorn Lumyong who received a Distinguished Research Professor Grant (DTG) 2022 of 12 million baht from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for her research project titled, The application of a fungus-derived bioactive compound for the health food industry and medical applications in drug discovery and toxic detection by immunoassay.
This grant is awarded to senior researchers with professorship who produce excellent research that leads to new knowledge that has academic impact and has the potential for practical or socially or nationally impactful applications. Each year only three researchers are selected to receive this prestigious grant from the NRCT.
