Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Agro-Industry Researchers Receive the “Very Good” Level Invention Award 2026 from the National Research Council of Thailand

The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, proudly congratulates Associate Professor Dr. Korawan Sringarm from the Department of Animal and Aquatic Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, together with Professor Dr. Pornchai Rachtanapun and Associate Professor Dr. Kittisak Jantanasakulwong, faculty members of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, on receiving the Invention Award 2026 (Very Good Level) from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
The award recognizes their innovative work entitled:
“M-Zlex: An Innovation for Bovine Sperm Sexing Using Magnetic Conjugated Antibodies for Producing Sexed Semen”
(Agricultural Science and Biology Category)
This research introduces a novel magnetic–antibody conjugation system for efficient bovine sperm sexing, enhancing the production of sexed semen with a higher proportion of female offspring—an achievement with significant implications for livestock breeding and the dairy industry.
