Mental Health Program of MIdS CMU organizes “MIdS’ Care and Support: Care with Heart, Grow with MIdS.”

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Mental Health Program of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University organized the activity “MIdS’ Care and Support (Mit Tae Care Jai): Care with Heart, Grow with MIdS.” for students, staffs, and faculty members, both Thai and international participants.
The event was warmly welcomed by Prof. Nahathai Wongpakaran, M.D., FRCPsychT., Chair of Mental Health Program, while the opening remarks were delivered by Assistant Professor Salinee Santiteerakul, Ph.D., Associate Dean of MIdS CMU. The activity was held at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.
The event aimed to promote mental well-being and inner strengths while fostering a community of understanding, care, and mutual growth. Participants were encouraged to exchange experiences and feelings in an atmosphere of respect and appreciation for one another.
During the program, participants had the opportunity to:
- Explore and better understand their mental well-being through the online assessment tool “Thymometer”
- Join a Strength Training Workshop designed to develop sustainable self-care and interpersonal care skills
The activity reflects MIdS CMU’s commitment to supporting holistic well-being and creating a caring and inclusive learning community.
