8 December 2025
Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, organized the Global Clinical Learning Experience for fourth-year undergraduate students in the International Program to enhance experiential learning and broaden students’ perspectives on global health. The program aims to strengthen language proficiency, leadership skills, and essential competencies that align with the needs of learners, stakeholders, communities, and society. The program took place from 5–15 December 2025 at four international partner institutions:
.
Asahi University, Japan
Dokkyo Medical University, Japan
Dongguk University WISE Campus, Republic of Korea
Kunming Medical University, People’s Republic of China
.
The students received a warm welcome from all host institutions and participated in a wide range of academic and cultural activities. These included learning about each country’s healthcare system, practicing nursing skills in classroom settings, visiting healthcare facilities, and joining cultural exchange activities. The program also provided opportunities for the students to share Thai cultural identity and exchange meaningful university life experiences with international peers.
.
This program reflects the Faculty’s strong commitment to developing students with global perspectives, cross-cultural understanding, and the readiness to become competent professional nurses in international settings. It marks an important step toward preparing future nursing professionals for the demands of the 21st century.
