CMU Faculty of Nursing Welcomes Japanese Universities for Short-term Exchange Program

The Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, warmly welcomed 20 students and 3 faculty members from four leading Japanese universities—Kagawa University, Miyazaki Prefectural Nursing University, Toho University, and the University of the Ryukyus—as part of the Short-term Exchange Program, held from 15-25 August 2025.

The opening ceremony took place on 18 August 2025 at the Wilawan Senaratana Meeting Room, Building 4, with greetings delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Anon Wisutthananon and Assistant Professor Dr. Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Assistant Deans of the Faculty.

This program aims to foster academic collaboration and cultural exchange between the Chiang Mai University Faculty of Nursing and its Japanese partner institutions, strengthening international cooperation in nursing education and practice. Beyond academic learning, the program also provides a platform for young people to build cross-cultural understanding and lasting friendships between Thailand and Japan, paving the way for future collaboration.
