5 June 2026
International College of Digital Innovation
On June 5, 2026, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Uncharoen, Dean of ICDI, warmly welcomed Ms. Lian Chen, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University, and her delegation.
The visit aimed to introduce student exchange opportunities and discuss potential areas of academic collaboration between the two institutions. Both parties exchanged ideas on promoting Chinese language education to enhance students’ competencies and increase their employment opportunities with Chinese enterprises operating in Thailand.
The discussion also explored future collaborative initiatives in academics and student development, with a focus on equipping students with essential language and intercultural skills needed in an increasingly globalized workforce.
This meeting marks another important step in strengthening educational partnerships and expanding opportunities for students to develop international competencies and prepare for successful careers in the global arena.
