Faculty of Economics, CMU Attends Northern Region Economic and Financial Press Briefing for Q1/2026

On May 6, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Chatchai Khiewngamdee, Ph.D., together with students, attended the Northern Region Economic and Financial Report Press Briefing for the first quarter of 2026 at the Bank of Thailand, Northern Region Office.
The briefing was delivered by Mr. Natt Lumpikanon, Director of the Bank of Thailand, Northern Region Office, who presented an overview of the economic and financial situation in Northern Thailand, as well as the economic outlook for the coming period. The session aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and perspectives on economic and financial issues among students and participants.
Participation in this activity reflects the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University’s commitment to promoting experiential learning beyond the classroom and providing students with opportunities to closely follow economic developments from national-level institutions. Such experiences contribute significantly to the development of students’ analytical skills and practical understanding of economics in real-world contexts.
