CM Governor Visits CMU Senior Wellness Centre and Discusses the Medical Hub Project

On June 6, 2023, at the CMU Senior Wellness Centre, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, welcomed Mr. Nirat Pongsitthavorn, Governor of Chiang Mai, and delegation during their visit to learn more about the centre’s operations and services. Associate Professor Dr. Chaiwat Bumroongkit, the Director, gave a tour around the facility and Professor Dr. Bannakij Lojanapiwat, Dean of the CMU Faculty of Medicine, gave an overview report of the Medical Hub project and showed the delegation the construction site of the Medical Hub Facility. Both parties also discussed the promotion of Chiang Mai as a medical health hub that is linked to medical tourism, in line with the strategies of the province and the provincial cluster that would generate significant economic value for Chiang Mai and Thailand.
