The Faculty of Business Administration received accreditation by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) on April 28, 2021, joining the list of leading business schools worldwide. It is the first regional university, and seventh overall in the country, to do so. After the AACSB committee’s visit on February 22 - 25, 2021, CMU’s business school joined the six percent of institutions recognised by the Association offering degrees in business, 890 from 58 countries. This recognition is due to university staff’s maintenance of a quality education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the adoption of action learning, strong research outcomes, academic engagement, and student development with external organisations. Initiated by the former dean, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Siriwut Buranapin, the faculty’s mission was taken up by Asst.Prof.Dr. Khongphu Nimanandh, the current dean. This news is a testimony of the Faculty’s dedication to its students, alumni, business organisations, and higher educational institutions, showcasing excellence in learning, teaching, research, academic services, and curriculum development.
The dean expressed deep honor receiving the AACSB accreditation, which he described as “a symbol of excellence in business administration education.” He went on:

“Being recognised by a leading international organisation is the result of our excellent staff’s belief in a culture of ongoing innovation and development, determination to create values through well-developed curricula, and commitment to all stakeholders. All of these contribute to our credibility, raising our operation to international standards, which helps to expand our academic network and enhance student development in collaboration with other accredited institutions. The result is a good image ensuring the quality of our graduates, leading to future benefits for the organisations or establishments that hire our graduates.
Moreover, the AACSB standards demonstrate our commitment to helping our students and alumni achieve success as future leaders of the world, who will be able to adapt to dynamic business and business administration education contexts, which change swiftly and dramatically. The Business Administration Faculty seeks to achieve this through teaching development, research, student development, and art and cultural conservation to meet the Faculty’s and the University’s objectives.”

CMU is striving to improve education quality in order to be on par with global standards. The university is also raising standards of operation in all domains and sectors to sustainably work towards common goals.
