The trip commenced in Shanghai, where the delegation engaged in discussions and knowledge exchange regarding the project’s research on digital education platforms with the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). This was a significant milestone in strengthening international academic collaborations.
The delegation then proceeded to Yunnan Province to carry out key activities, including:
• Presenting research progress under the joint project in collaboration with Yunnan Normal University, in Kunming.
• Visiting a technology laboratory focused on AI for educational media development.
• Exploring and participating in cultural exchange activities centered on the history and culture of ethnic groups in Yunnan Province.
Furthermore, the team traveled to Dali to discuss potential academic partnerships with the College of International Education, Dali University, toured Dali Finance and Trade College, and engaged in cultural exchange activities with students on November 3-4, 2024.
This visit was conducted alongside a short-term Chinese language and cultural exchange program for undergraduate students from ICDI, with 10 students participating.
