Lacquer: Preserving Transient Memories and Emotions Through Installation Art

This installation explores the artist’s personal memory of her grandfather through the image of a chair where he once sat and waited, along with his handwritten letters. These intimate memories are transformed from paper into lacquer and ultimately into an immersive spatial installation, reflecting relationships, absence, loss, and the traces of a loved one that remain in memory.
