On May 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Ph.D., Dean, participated in the signing ceremony of an academic collaboration memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce and the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University. The ceremony was held at Meeting Room ECB2602, Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University.
This collaboration aims to promote the integration of academic knowledge into local business and economic development through cooperation in research, knowledge exchange, personnel capacity development, and the support of joint academic activities between the two organizations.
In addition, the partnership reflects the important role of higher education institutions in driving sustainable economic and social development by applying economic knowledge in practical and meaningful ways. The collaboration is expected to strengthen businesses, entrepreneurs, and local communities across Chiang Mai Province and Northern Thailand in the long term.
The collaboration between the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce and the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University marks another important step in building partnerships between the academic and private sectors to jointly develop knowledge, innovation, and sustainable approaches for strengthening the local economy in the future.
