ICDI Welcomes Executives from Curtin University, Australia, and Hosts a Special Lecture on Academic Entrepreneurship

On July 1, 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, had the honor of welcoming esteemed delegates from Curtin University, Australia. The visiting delegation included Professor Mark Ogden (Pro Vice-Chancellor, Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering) and Professor Kevin Fynn (Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering). The visit aimed to explore opportunities for academic collaboration and to exchange knowledge in the fields of innovation and science.
Associate Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, welcomed the guests and led them on a tour of the college's facilities. As part of the visit, a special lecture titled “Academic Entrepreneurship” was delivered by Professor Kevin Fynn at classroom ICB1102, attended by approximately 40 students and faculty members.
Following the lecture, the delegation engaged in an academic discussion with ICDI administrators and faculty members at meeting room ICB1313. The session focused on potential collaborations in teaching, research, and student exchange between the two institutions. This visit highlights the shared commitment of both universities to advancing international academic cooperation and providing students and faculty with opportunities to learn directly from global experts.
