NurseCMU Participates in Global Network of WHO Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery General Meeting

On 10 June 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, participated in the General Meeting of the Global Network of WHO Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery (GNWHOCCNM) via Zoom Meeting.

Hosted at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, the meeting brought together representatives from WHO Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery and international partners to exchange updates and discuss future directions for global health collaboration. Key agenda items included reports on activities undertaken in line with the Terms of Reference (TORs) and the Strategic Directions for Nursing and Midwifery (SDNMs), as well as strategic discussions on strengthening collaboration across the network.

During the reporting session, Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun presented the Faculty’s progress and achievements as a WHO Collaborating Centre, as well as collaborations with other WHO Collaborating Centres and international partners. Participation in this meeting reflects the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University’s commitment to advancing international collaboration in nursing and midwifery and contributing to health system development and global health goals.
