ICDI Participates in the Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2025 to Strengthen Cooperation in Digital Innovation, Education, and Technology

On 26–27 November 2025, a delegation from the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University—including Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean; Asst. Prof. Dr. Nopasit Chakpitak; and Dr. Chakkrapong Kuensaen—participated in the Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2025 held in Phuket, Thailand. The event serves as a key platform for cooperation in investment, technology, education, and various industries between Thailand and the Russian Federation.

The ICDI delegation attended discussions on economic cooperation, financial innovation, technology development, and multimodal logistics infrastructure. They also exchanged views with representatives from Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. on opportunities to develop academic programs in smart logistics and intelligent transportation systems. In addition, the delegation observed pitching sessions by Thai and Russian startups showcasing emerging technologies in AI and digital platforms.

On 27 November, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen was invited to speak in a session on Innovative Solutions and Artificial Intelligence in Education, highlighting opportunities for student and staff exchanges, dual-degree development, and the integration of AI and educational technologies in higher education. ICDI also discussed potential cooperation with HSE University’s Graduate School of Business and 1C Company, a leading Russian software developer.
