On Sunday, 21 June 2026, from 8.30 a.m. to 16.30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University organised its Graduate Student Orientation Programme for the 2026 Academic Year at Room ECB2201, the Multi-purpose Academic Building. The orientation aimed to prepare newly admitted graduate students for their academic journey by providing essential information on study plans, university support services, and academic regulations.

The morning session was held for students enrolled in the Master's Degree Programmes (Regular and Special Programmes). Asst. Prof. Tatcha Sudtasan, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, delivered a welcome address and introduced the Faculty's executive team, programme directors, academic staff, and administrative personnel responsible for supporting graduate students throughout their studies.

Programme coordinators and lecturers then provided detailed guidance on programme structures, study plans, course registration procedures, key academic calendars, including registration and add/drop periods, as well as the University's information technology systems and campus facilities. These sessions were designed to help students prepare effectively for graduate study and make full use of the University's academic resources.

Students also participated in an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing them to discuss academic matters directly with programme staff, followed by networking activities that fostered positive relationships among students, lecturers, and Faculty personnel.

In the afternoon, the Faculty organised an orientation session for students enrolled in the International Master's Degree Programmes, introducing academic expectations, student services, and essential information to support their studies and life at Chiang Mai University.

The orientation reflects the Faculty of Economics' commitment to providing comprehensive academic support and creating an inspiring learning environment that equips graduate students with the knowledge, skills, and professional networks necessary for success in higher education and future careers.
