ICDI Update Forum 2/2024 Highlights Advancements in Digital Innovation

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, successfully hosted the ICDI Update Forum 2/2024. The event was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, who delivered an inspiring opening speech.
The forum aimed to unite ICDI lecturers and students, fostering a collaborative platform to explore and discuss emerging trends in digital innovation. The event featured a diverse range of thought-provoking topics, including:
- "Odyssey in AI, no NLP" by Asst. Prof. Dr. Seamus Lyons
- "Digital Platforms, Payments, and Ecosystems for Cross Border Commerce" by Dr. Siva Ramasamy
- "This is the Future We Want (Metaverse)" by Dr. Michael John Harris
- "Introduction to Complex Networks and Its Applications" by Dr. Aniwat Phaphuangwittayakul
- "Flipped Learning" by Dr. Phillip Y. Freiberg
The forum welcomed more than 30 participants, including faculty members and students, who actively engaged in discussions and shared insights on the latest developments in the digital innovation landscape. This event underscores ICDI's commitment to staying at the forefront of digital innovation education by fostering dialogue, sharing knowledge, and inspiring innovation within its academic community.
