Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University Participates in the 18th Annual Academic Conference of the Thailand Honorary Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Omega-at-Large Chapter

The Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, one of the nine founding member institutions of the Thailand Honorary Nursing Society and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Omega-at-Large Chapter, participated in the 18th Annual Academic Conference under the theme “Caring with Intelligence: Ethical Frontiers of AI in Nursing Practice” on Friday, 24 July 2026. The conference was conducted online via Zoom Meetings.

This year's conference was hosted by the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University. The program featured keynote lectures and knowledge-sharing sessions by distinguished experts from Thailand and abroad, aiming to advance the nursing profession and promote the ethical and responsible application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in nursing practice.

On this occasion, lecturers and graduate students from the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University participated in the conference. In addition, several students applied for membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for the 2026 membership cycle. Sigma Theta Tau International is a prestigious global nursing honor society dedicated to fostering excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and professional service to advance nursing worldwide.
