International College of Digital Innovation
On 24 November 2025, a delegation from the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, visited the School of Business at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, to further strengthen academic cooperation between the two institutions.
In the morning, the ICDI delegation met with Thai students currently enrolled in the “ICDI–ECUST 2+2” double-degree program. The visit provided an opportunity to follow up on their academic progress, campus life, and learning experiences in Shanghai, while reaffirming ICDI’s commitment to supporting students throughout their international learning journey.
In the afternoon, the delegation attended an official meeting with representatives from the ECUST School of Business, led by Professor Fan Tiejun, Dean of the School, along with faculty members from relevant departments. The discussion focused on reviewing the progress of the “ICDI–ECUST 2+2” program, including curriculum alignment, credit transfer mechanisms, and student support systems, as well as exploring ways to further enhance the program.
Both sides also discussed potential areas for expanded collaboration, such as student exchanges, short-term programs, co-developed courses, and joint research initiatives in fields related to digital innovation and fintech—aimed at enriching cross-cultural learning opportunities and strengthening the competencies of students for the digital era.
This visit marks another important step in advancing cooperation between ICDI and ECUST, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering high-quality digital innovation education between Thailand
