Welcomed a visiting scholar from the University of Illinois Chicago, United States of America, under the "Monthly Global Insight in Nursing Research" program.

Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, and Assistant Professor Dr. Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Assistant Dean, extended a warm welcome to Professor Dr. Ardith Z. Doorenbos, Harriet H. Werley Endowed Chair for Nursing Research, Department of Biobehavioral Nursing Science, University of Illinois Chicago, United States of America. Professor Dr. Doorenbos participated in the "Monthly Global Insight in Nursing Research" program, which aims to strengthen relationships and foster academic and research collaboration between the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, and international institutions. During her visit, she also delivered special lectures for students and faculty members of the Faculty of Nursing.

The program was held from 26 to 30 January 2026, at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University.
The activities included:
1. Knowledge exchange on research and publication with early-career researchers of the Faculty
2. Individual research and publication consultations
3. A publication writing workshop for faculty members and graduate students
4. Four special lectures on the following topics:
4.1 Complementary, Integrative, and Standard Rehabilitative Pain Therapies: A Pragmatic Controlled Trial
4.2 Self-Care and Resilience
4.3 Building a Program of Research: From Systematic Reviews to Dissemination and Implementation
4.4 Ethical Palliative Care for Older Adults
Discussions on future research collaboration with faculty member
