Sustainable Campus Management Center Holds Merit-Making Ceremony for Organizational Prosperity
4 August 2025
SustainableCampus Management Center : SCMC
Monday, August 4, 2025 - The Sustainable Campus Management Center organized a merit-making ceremony to bring prosperity to the organization and boost morale among all personnel at the Center's premises. The event was attended by executives, staff members, and affiliated agencies.
The religious ceremony was presided over by Phra Kru Wimonthamrat (Srinuan Wimalo), Advisor to the Ecclesiastical Provincial Governor of Chiang Mai, Lamphun, and Mae Hong Son (Dhammayut Sect), and Abbot of Wat Santitham, who led a group of 5 monks in conducting the religious rituals.
The ceremony began with the lighting of incense and candles in homage to the Triple Gem, followed by the recitation of homage to the Triple Gem and the observance of the Five Precepts. After the invitation for protective chanting, the monks chanted Buddhist prayers for the prosperity of the Center and all personnel.
A significant highlight of the ceremony was the dedication of merit to deceased former executives, personnel, and benefactors of the Sustainable Campus Management Center, demonstrating remembrance of their virtuous deeds and the continuation of their aspirations in developing the organization.
Following the offering of food and requisites to the monks, the presiding monk delivered a discourse and gave blessings to the ceremony participants. He then sprinkled holy water while the monks chanted auspicious verses for prosperity, before representatives of the monastic community sprinkled holy water on the participants and affiliated agencies.
This merit-making ceremony not only serves to boost morale among personnel but also preserves fine traditions, fosters organizational unity, and demonstrates the importance placed on spiritual dimensions alongside organizational development for sustainable campus management moving forward.
