Faculty of Economics Welcomes Study Visit from Chiang Mai University Demonstration School
26 August 2026
Faculty of Economics
On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Tatcha Sudtasan, Ph.D., Deputy Dean, together with Tossapond Kewprasopsak, Ph.D., Assistant Dean, and Faculty staff, welcomed a study visit from Chiang Mai University Demonstration School at Room ECB1401, 4th Floor, Building 1.
The visit was designed to provide students with first-hand insights into the Faculty’s academic programmes, teaching and learning approaches, learning environment, and overall student experience. It also offered useful information to support students in considering their future higher education pathways.
During the visit, students gained a better understanding of economics as an academic discipline and explored the learning environment within the Faculty. The experience was intended to help them make more informed decisions about further study based on their interests, strengths, and educational goals.
The programme also introduced students to the role of economics in understanding and analysing economic and social issues, while encouraging them to explore academic fields of interest in a more systematic and informed manner.
This study visit reflects the Faculty of Economics’ commitment to supporting educational outreach and helping young learners explore future study opportunities through meaningful academic experiences.
