MIdS CMU and SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited Sign Academic Cooperation MOU

On Friday, 23 January 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony on academic cooperation with SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.

The ceremony was led by Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, who delivered welcome remarks and introduced MIdS CMU. Mr. Ban Kasemsap, Co-Chief Executive Officer of SCG JWD Logistics Public Company Limited, also gave an introduction to the organization.

The MOU was jointly signed by:

Mr. Ban Kasemsap, Co-Chief Executive Officer, SCG JWD Logistics Public Company Limited

Associate Professor Dr. Wantida Chaiyana, Vice Dean, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University

Mr. Udon Khongkhahet, Senior Director, Domestic New Business Division, SCG JWD Logistics Public Company Limited

The objective of this MOU is to jointly develop, conduct research, and promote training programs focused on sustainable development, particularly in the areas of organizational management, logistics, artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainability-related technologies. The collaboration aims to establish a strong cooperative network among the private sector, government agencies, and communities to address global challenges and prepare for the future.

In addition, both parties seek to co-create, adopt, and transfer technologies and innovations for practical application, as well as to promote personnel exchange between the two organizations in order to enhance mutual learning and strengthen long-term collaboration across organizational and professional networks.
