At 10.15 a.m., the Faculty held a recognition ceremony honouring students and staff whose achievements have contributed to the Faculty’s reputation and excellence. A total of 85 recipients across eight award categories were recognised, including 20 students for outstanding academic achievements; 12 recipients for supporting student excellence; nine recipients for research achievements and research funding; 20 staff members for internationally recognised contributions; 12 recipients for academic advancement; one staff member for achievement and innovation; ten recipients for diligence, dedication, and integrity; and one recipient recognised as an Outstanding Civil Servant.
At 11.00 a.m., the Faculty held its Role Model Awards Ceremony under the “Visible Role Model: Discovering Heroes within the Organisation” initiative, part of the Mission to the MOON (Measurable Outcome through Operational Nexus) project. The initiative recognises staff members who demonstrate exemplary professional conduct and contribute to bringing the Faculty’s organisational values and culture to life.
The 62nd anniversary provided an opportunity not only to reflect on the Faculty’s journey and development, but also to celebrate the people whose achievements, dedication, and contributions continue to shape its future.
