MIdS CMU Prepares for the Second Green Office Assessment

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU) rganized a training session on Green Office implementation guidelines and the preparation process for the second Green Office assessment for MIdS CMU administrators and staff on September 2–3, 2026, at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.
The opening ceremony was honored by Prof. Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, who welcomed the invited speakers, while Asst. Prof. Dr. Thaneeya Chetiyanukornkul, Assistant Dean of MIdS CMU, presided over the opening ceremony.
The training featured expert speakers in energy and environmental management, including Mr. Puangwit Sonlamet, Dr. Sampan Kongmak, and Mr. Winyu Lochro, who shared their knowledge and practical guidance on Green Office implementation and assessment preparation.
The training aimed to strengthen MIdS CMU’s readiness in terms of documentation and supporting evidence for the upcoming assessment, while promoting the efficient use of resources and reducing environmental impacts. The initiative supports MIdS CMU’s commitment to achieving Green Office standards in accordance with the criteria of the Department of Climate Change and Environment and advancing Chiang Mai University’s sustainability policy.
