Saiten-Tasten | A Transcultural Piano Encounter

This concert presents a transcultural encounter through contemporary piano performance, including solo piano, piano with electroacoustic sound, and experimental audiovisual works. It offers audiences an opportunity to experience a dialogue between sound, contemporary music, and cultural imaginaries that connect diverse contexts through contemporary compositions by Ainolnaim Azizol, Beat Furrer, ChieTsang Lee, Daniel Serrano, Joanna W??ny, Matthias Kranebitter, Tee Xiao Xi, and Thatchatham Silpsupan.
This event is part of the project “Echoes of Tradition: A Cross-Cultural Musical Performance Inspired by Folklore and Natural Soundscapes”, supported by a research grant from the ASEAN–European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET). The project is a collaboration between Universit?t f?r Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (mdw), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Chiang Mai University.
