VET CMU Welcomes Top Veterinary Leaders from Taiwan (NPUST & NCHU): Forging Global Alliances in Vaccine Technology and Diagnostics

On March 17, 2026, Professor Dr. Korakot Nganvongpanit, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, together with the executive team, welcomed a delegation from the College of Veterinary Medicine, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Ming-Tang Chiou, Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yao-Chi Chung, Director of the Graduate Institute of Animal Vaccine Technology and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuen-Fu Lin, Director of the Animal Disease Diagnostic Center. They also welcomed representatives from the College of Veterinary Medicine, National Chung Hsing University, including Prof. Ter-Hsin Chen, Dean, Prof. Kuan-Sheng Chen, Associate Dean, and Asst. Prof. Pin-Chen Liu, Head of the Department of Clinical Pathology.
On this occasion, both parties engaged in discussions on future academic and research collaboration to strengthen international cooperation in veterinary medicine. The delegations also visited several facilities, including the Northern Regional Veterinary Healthcare and Learning Center: NOVEL CMU, the Veterinary Diagnostic and Animal Health Innovation Center, the Large Animal Hospital, and the Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology Museum. These units serve as important learning resources within the faculty, fostering knowledge exchange and further academic collaboration between the institutions.
