Faculty of Pharmacy, CMU Joins Regional Event CPHI South East Asia 2026, Sending Students to Compete in PharmaQuest

Professor of Practice Dr. Supat Jiranusornkul, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University, attended CPHI South East Asia 2026, held from July 8–10, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The event stands as the largest comprehensive pharmaceutical manufacturing technology and industry exhibition in Southeast Asia. A key highlight of the event was "PharmaQuest," an international pharmacy academic quiz competition. This forum is a collaborative effort between three major professional organizations: the Industrial Pharmacist Association (Thailand), the Thai Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, and the Pharmacy Council of Thailand, aimed at identifying top pharmacy student talents nationwide.
On this occasion, a team of pharmacy students from Chiang Mai University advanced to the final 40 round, competing on July 8, 2026, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr.Phennapha Saokham. The competition utilized a multiple-choice format to select the top 8 scoring teams, who will proceed to the subjective question-and-answer round to determine the final winner.
