ICDI Organizes “Khantoke Dinner: Building Bonds for Academic Year 2025”

International College of Digital Innovation
The Student Union of the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized the “Khantoke Dinner: Building Bonds for Academic Year 2025” on December 13, 2025, at the Lanna Cultural Courtyard, Chiang Mai University. The event aimed to strengthen relationships among administrators, faculty members, and students, while fostering a warm and harmonious community within the college.
The event was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ounjaroen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, who delivered a welcome address. The event was also attended by the Associate Deans, faculty members, and students.
The program featured a traditional wrist-tying ceremony for new students, symbolizing a warm welcome and best wishes, along with a mini concert performed by students. Participants also enjoyed a traditional Khantoke dinner while watching cultural performances presented by students, creating a lively, joyful, and memorable atmosphere.
This activity reflects ICDI’s commitment to enhancing student life while preserving and promoting Lanna cultural heritage, which is an integral part of Chiang Mai University’s identity.
