9 July 2026
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, organized the “Intensive Workshop: Unlocking Future Programs” to collaboratively design the next generation of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary academic programs. The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of faculty members and curriculum developers in creating innovative curricula that respond to the rapidly evolving higher education landscape and the future demands of the labor market.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Salinee Santiteerakul, Associate Dean of MIdS CMU, while the workshop activities were facilitated by the Blackbox facilitation team. The program was held on 8–9 July 2026 at Kantary Hills Chiang Mai Hotel.
The workshop focused on advancing curriculum development through the concepts of Flexible Learning, Modular Curriculum, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary integration, and the cultivation of Future Skills. Through interactive workshops and playtesting sessions, participants collaborated with the Blackbox facilitators to co-design, prototype, exchange ideas, and refine innovative curriculum models that are learner-centered, future-oriented, and ready for practical implementation.
