International College of Digital Innovation
From 25–27 September 2026, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, sent student teams to participate in the Innovate Chiang Mai: Business Plan Competition 2026, held at the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT), Chiang Mai.
The competition provided students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in innovation, digital technology, and business development to create and present business plans under the theme “Smart Economy & Digital Innovation.” The competition covered a wide range of areas, including FinTech, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Creative Economy, and the Future of Work.
ICDI students successfully received a total of three awards:

The students’ participation and achievements in this competition demonstrate their ability to transform classroom knowledge into practical business and innovation concepts in real-world contexts. These accomplishments align with ICDI’s commitment to promoting experiential learning and developing students’ skills in innovation, digital technology, and entrepreneurship—essential competencies for preparing them for future careers and the evolving digital economy.
