CAMT CMU Staff Earns International Acclaim, Winning the "Best Presentation Award" at the 7th Asia Joint Conference in Japan

The staff of the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University, showcased their research potential on the global academic stage, securing an award at the 7th Asia Joint Conference on Computing and Electrical Technologies. The conference was grandly held from May 12–15, 2026, in Sapporo, Japan.
During this conference, Ms. Narisara Laohapattanalert, an International Relations Officer, was honored with the prestigious "Best Presentation Award" for her research presentation titled, "Analyzing Institutional Partnership Trends: A Quantitative Study of MOUs at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University," which prominently highlighted international collaborations.
Furthermore, a delegation of the College's executives and staff also participated and presented their research at the same international event. The delegation included:
• Academic Staff: Asst. Prof. Dr. Manissaward Jintapitak (Lecturer in the Animation and Visual Effects program).
• Support Staff: Ms. Piyaporn Na Chiangmai (Secretary of the College), Ms. Jongluk Somrang (Head of Finance, Treasury and Supplies), Ms. Thanaporn Ngamprapasom (Head of Research Administration and International Relations), Mrs. Shisa Singkhamfu (Research Administrator), and Ms. Chodchakorn Tawonkasemhatai (Educational Administrator).
This participation and research presentation were supported by the College's budget, specifically allocated from the Research Administration and International Relations division. This initiative significantly promotes the capacity building of both academic and support staff, enhancing their skills and research excellence to meet international standards. It also serves as a vital platform for establishing collaborative networks and exchanging new knowledge with global experts.
Simultaneously, these operations strongly align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:
• SDG 4: Quality Education: By supporting the lifelong learning of the staff.
• SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: By fostering innovation in organizational management.
• SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals: Through the analysis and expansion of collaborative networks between institutions on an international scale.
