NurseCMU Joins the 2025 Asia-Pacific Alliance of Health Leaders (APAHL) Forum

Assistant Professor Dr. Anon Wisutthananon, Assistant Dean, together with faculty members and undergraduate students from the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, participated in the 2025 Asia-Pacific Alliance of Health Leaders (APAHL) Forum under the theme “Enhancing Community Health and Older Adult Care through Innovations and Technologies.” The event took place from November 5 to 8, 2025, at the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University.

The forum was organized under the Memorandum of Understanding for the APAHL Network, which was established among five leading academic institutions in the Asia–Pacific region. The alliance aims to develop health sciences students into international academic leaders. The member institutions include:
1. Faculty of Health Sciences, Yamaguchi University, Japan
2. School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China
3. School of Nursing and Midwifery, Deakin University, Australia
4. Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Thailand
5. Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, Thailand

Under this collaboration, the member institutions take turns hosting the APAHL Forum each year. In 2025, the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, served as the host institution under the aforementioned theme. The forum provided valuable opportunities for participants from the five institutions to learn about diverse health promotion systems and the practical applications of health science education in different countries. It also served as a platform for academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and international collaboration among faculty members and students, with the ultimate goal of fostering global cooperation in health sciences education and strengthening networks for health promotion worldwide.
