4,000 surgical masks recieved from Chengdu University and Neijiang Normal University in the People's Republic of China

Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, M.D., President of Chiang Mai University received 4,000 masks from Professor Wang Qingyuan, President of Chengdu University and Professor Chen Xiaochun, President of Neijiang Normal University, Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China, in order to prevent the spread of the Covid - 19 virus. On this occasion, Dr. Woramon Sinsuwan, Deputy Consul-General, acted on behalf of the Consul-General in Chengdu has helped in supporting the donation. The event took place on May 5, 2020, at the Property and Asset Management Office, Chiang Mai University.
Chiang Mai University, Chengdu University, and Neijiang Normal University have had a close relationship as well as academic cooperation with each other for a long time. Notably, there is the signing of academic cooperation agreement, co-curriculum organization, and the exchanges between the students and staffs between these universities.
