Mr. Worawoot Utsatae, staff at the Student Affairs section, Academic Service and Student Development Division, Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University, was awarded the prestigious ‘Panyaphiwat’ award 2021, which celebrates achievements in Thai educational standards, in the Outstanding Educational Promoter on February 21, 2021 from the ASEAN Network-Thailand, with H.E. Ampon Senanarong, Privy Councilor of the late King Rama IX, chairing the awarding ceremony.
The awards of excellence in educational administration under the educational potential development scheme for Thailand and ASEAN are given to honour educational institutions and foster educational administrators and developers in all levels, which would help prepare for the ASEAN Community. Nominations and preliminary organisational data are obtained upon enquiries to individuals holding important positions that are reputable across organisations regarding the operation of the institutions or organisations playing outstanding roles in terms of education, development and administration, as well as public relations. It aims to promote Thai education, which would be a key strategic tool to the nation’s strength in the ASEAN Community.
