Faculty of Public Health, CMU Holds MOA Exchange Ceremony with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam
On August 3, 2026, the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University, held an online Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Exchange Ceremony with the Faculty of Public Health, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The ceremony virtually connected representatives from both institutions.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waraporn Boonchiang, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University, and Dr. Dang Thi Anh Thu, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, delivered welcome remarks and expressed their shared commitment to promoting collaboration between the two institutions. Executives, faculty members, and staff from both institutions also attended the ceremony.
The agreement aims to promote the exchange of students, faculty members, and staff, as well as academic knowledge and information. It also supports the development of joint research and academic activities, including meetings, seminars, workshops, and international conferences.
The ceremony marked another important milestone in strengthening the public health partnership between Thailand and Vietnam. It will also create opportunities for both institutions to develop meaningful and sustainable collaboration in education, research, and academic affairs for their mutual benefit.
