CMU-Asahi University academic and cultural collaboration

Clinical Prof. Niwes Nanthachit, President of CMU, and Dr. Katsuyuki Ohtomo, President of Asahi University, along with Assist. Prof. Dr. Thanee Kaewthummanukul, Dean of CMU Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Takao Kojima, Dean of Asahi University’s School of Health Sciences, signed a bilateral academic MoU during an online signing ceremony taking place at 10 am of April 7, 2022, at CMU. The goal is to promote academic and cultural collaboration to strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Japan. The MOU activities include exchanges of undergraduate and postgraduate students, research collaboration and exchanges of teaching and research personnel.
Asahi University is a private higher education institution located in Gifu, Japan, that offers recognised programmes. Its educational philosophy is to foster social awareness, creativity and knowledge, which are the foundation of the university. It is comprised of four schools – The School of Law, The School of Business Administration, The School of Dentistry and The School of Health Sciences. The postgraduate programmes offered range from law, business administration, and dentistry to Japanese language and culture for international students.
