MIdS CMU Organizes Academic Health Promotion Service Activity

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On August 22, 2026, Sports Science Program, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU) organized an Academic Health Promotion Service Activity at the activity area on the 1st floor of Central Chiangmai Airport.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jirakrit Leelarungrueangyap, Assistant Dean of MIdS CMU, outlined the objectives of the activity.
The activity aimed to provide MIdS CMU students with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills through academic services for the community, sharing health and wellness knowledge with the public in an accessible and practical way. It also served as an opportunity to promote MIdS CMU’s graduate programs in health and related fields to the wider community.
The event featured a variety of health and wellness activities, including:
Physical fitness assessments
Blood pressure and blood glucose checks
Strength and flexibility assessments
Body fat and body composition assessment
Neck, shoulder, and upper-back massage
Aerobic dance performances and competitions
Academic discussions on health and wellness
Information and guidance on MIdS CMU’s Master’s and Doctoral programs in health and exercise-related fields
The activity provided an engaging platform for students to share their expertise with the public while promoting health awareness, active lifestyles, and lifelong well-being, reflecting MIdS CMU’s commitment to connecting academic knowledge with meaningful community engagement.
