Air for All: Research and Innovation in Action – ‘Two Years of Research and Innovation Driving Practical Applications for Sustainable Change’
5 July 2026
Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)
Chiang Mai University has received funding from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for two consecutive research programs: the 2024 Fiscal Year project, ‘Reducing Wildfires in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, Chiang Mai Province, through the Integration of Big Data, Policy and Proactive Communication’, and the 2025 Fiscal Year project, ‘Reducing Burning in Northern Forest Areas through Innovation and Participatory Policy for Target-Oriented PM2.5 Management’. These initiatives have now progressed into the 2026 Air for All project under the Data, Technology and Community Engagement Integration Plan for Sustainable Pollution Management in Northern Thailand. To showcase the progress and practical outcomes of these initiatives, the Air for All: Research and Innovation in Action – ‘Two Years of Research and Innovation Driving Practical Applications for Sustainable Change’ event was held from July 4–6, 2026, at Chiangmai Grandview Convention Centre.
