The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, proudly congratulates Mr. NAY THUTA and Mr. NYAN OO THA, third-year undergraduate students, along with their team, on winning the First Prize at the Buildathon: Hackathon Thai x Nomad, held from January 18–20, 2024, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The competition team members include:
• Natanon Somboon – CAMT, second-year undergraduate student
• Phuvit Hannarong – CMUBS, fourth-year undergraduate student
• Aiyakarn Biajarus – Faculty of Science, second-year undergraduate student
• Polathip Sinthuvanick – CMUBS, fourth-year undergraduate student
• Rin Sugiyama – Faculty of Economics, first-year undergraduate student
• Anawat Jandee – CAMT, second-year undergraduate student
The competition provided a platform for young developers, designers, and entrepreneurs from various disciplines to collaborate and create innovative technology solutions that address the lifestyle and working patterns of digital nomads in today’s digital era. Participants were required to develop their projects within a limited timeframe and present their solutions to a panel of distinguished judges.
The award-winning project, “skillScoop,” a platform that connects students with freelance job opportunities, helping them showcase their skills, gain real-world experience, and work with digital nomads and organizations. The project responds to the evolving needs of the modern digital workforce and the global job market.
The International College of Digital Innovation commends the students for their dedication, creativity, and achievement, and hopes that this success will inspire future innovations that contribute to society and the digital industry.
