Faculty of Architecture, CMU Welcomes Delegation from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology and Chulalongkorn University

On August 30, 2025, the Faculty of Architecture at Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Phandin Unchanam, Dean of the Faculty, and the executive team, welcomed a delegation from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT), China, along with executives from the Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University, to the VDO Wall Room.

The faculty was honored to host Professor Lei Zhendong (Dean), Professor Dang Yutian (Vice Dean), Associate Professor Liu Zonggang, and Associate Professor Li Kun from XAUAT. This marked the first official meeting between the two universities, facilitated by Assistant Professor Sarayut Supsook, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University, and his executive team, who coordinated and accompanied the XAUAT delegation to Chiang Mai.

In his welcoming speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, CMU, emphasized the importance of forging academic collaborations that foster mutual learning not only in education and research but also in building cultural understanding and international friendship. He expressed his belief that this meeting would be a starting point for a sustainable and valuable partnership in the future.
