Thailand-Japan Symposium in Chemistry 2026

The Department of Chemistry and the Materials Science Research Center, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University (CMU), organized the Thailand-Japan Symposium in Chemistry 2026 on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Room CB1230, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, CMU.

Assoc. Prof. Winita Punyodom, Ph.D., Vice President of Chiang Mai University, delivered the welcoming remarks and presided over the opening ceremony.

The symposium served as an international platform for knowledge exchange, skill development, and discussions on research directions in chemistry, materials science, and related technologies among researchers, faculty members, and students from Thailand and Japan.

The event also aimed to strengthen research networks and partnerships, with a particular focus on fostering in-depth collaborations with leading Japanese research institutes and universities, as well as exploring opportunities to jointly advance and integrate emerging technologies in the future.
