Congratulations to Professor Kyoko Shimazawa, Visiting Researcher from Otemae University, Japan

Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, and Assistant Professor Dr. Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Assistant Dean, warmly welcomed and congratulated Professor Kyoko Shimazawa, Professor at the Faculty of Global Nursing and Director of the Institute of Global Nursing, Otemae University, Japan, on her visit to the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University as a Visiting Researcher from 10 June to 15 August 2026.

The visit aimed to strengthen and promote academic and research collaboration, particularly in the area of Reproductive Health in Southeast Asia, in collaboration with Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeyakamon Krikitrat. It also provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences in midwifery education, as well as related academic and clinical practices. In addition, Professor Kyoko Shimazawa shared her knowledge and expertise through academic lectures and learning activities for students and faculty members of the Faculty of Nursing. These activities contributed to knowledge exchange, academic learning, and the development of academic collaboration and networks between the two institutions.
