“Echoes of the Hills: Exploring the Performance Dynamics of Nagaland and CMU Choirs”

The Nagaland Conservatory of Music Choir, established in 2010 and formerly known as the Nagaland Singing Ambassadors, is a prestigious music choir affiliated with the University of Nagaland. Comprised of professionally trained musicians from various states across the country, the choir is dedicated to promoting music education and elevating the performing arts and music. Over the past decade, the choir has represented India on the international stage in countries such as Belgium, Spain, Ireland, and Norway, and has participated in numerous major festivals within those countries. They are now one of the most recognized choirs in India.

The Chiang Mai University Choir (CMU Choir), under the Student Affairs Division, Chiang Mai University. Officially established in 2016, the club envisions itself as a unique university-level choral group that blends Lanna culture with choral singing to creatively and contemporary preserve and promote Lanna culture.
