NurseCMU Welcomes Visiting Faculty Member from Toho University, Japan

Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Satoko Horii from the Department of Global Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Toho University, Japan, during her visit to the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, from September 9-10, 2026.
.
The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange academic perspectives and discuss future collaboration, with particular emphasis on potential joint research related to climate change and the health of older people. During her visit, Dr. Horii also visited the Nursing Learning Unit (NLU) and the CMU Nurse-Led Clinic, learned about community-based integrated care in Thailand, and shared her expertise with faculty members and students through a special lecture on global aging and nursing education.
