Mie University and Kansai Medical University Students Visit Chiang Mai University Faculty of Nursing for Cross-Cultural Learning Exchange

August 18, 2026 — Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, welcomed faculty members and undergraduate students from Mie University and Kansai Medical University, Japan, at the Wilawan Senarat Meeting Room, Building 4, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University.

The visit was held as part of the "Different Perspectives, Different Cultures" Program, under the Student Potential Development Program through Inter-Institutional Collaboration Networks (Inbound), taking place from August 16-23, 2026.
.
The program aims to provide students with opportunities to develop cross-cultural learning skills through the exchange of perspectives, knowledge, and experiences in the context of nursing education. Through academic and cultural activities, students from Thailand and Japan are encouraged to learn from one another, gain a broader understanding of different cultural perspectives, and develop essential skills for working in diverse and international healthcare environments.
