A Significant Step Forward! First Thai Female Executive Takes on Leadership Role in IEEE CIS EXCOM

Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Sansanee Auephanwiriyakul , Vice Director of the Biomedical Engineering Institute, Chiang Mai University (CMU), and faculty member of the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, CMU, on her appointment as Vice President for Member Activities in the Executive Committee (EXCOM) of the Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), or IEEE CIS, USA, for the term 2025-2026.
This is a momentous occasion as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sansanee becomes the first Thai woman to assume a leadership position in the IEEE CIS EXCOM. Her appointment highlights her exceptional capabilities and dedication to advancing the field of computational intelligence.
IEEE, the world's largest technical professional organization, comprises over 460,000 members from 190 countries.
